My services include anything from private 1 to 1 or group coaching, Yoga and mindfulness to Joy101™ workshops, harnessing the power of fun to create the life you want! It’s all about balancing the mind, body and heart.
Why did you decide to join Offsite Immersive as a resident volunteer in 2016?
As a professional enjoyer, I spend a lot of my time coaching people that success lies in letting go of struggle and enjoying your way to your goals. As much as this resonates with most people, it’s still hard to tear yourself away from the daily grind. Offsite Immersive coworking retreat, really resonated with me. I love seeing people do great things from a joyful place of taking care of themselves. When Southwest Collective invited me onboard, I was excited because from my point of view, they are promoting success through wellbeing.
What is your intention for the week?
To enjoy the experience to the fullest. To share joy through Yoga, Meditation and Joy101 playshops and connect with amazing people. I hope to create fun and enriching experiences which ultimately leaves people feeling uplifted and connected to themselves.
How will you create and share with the community?
We will be doing daily meditation sessions together, regular Yoga classes and Joy101 playshops. I also aim to connect and be present with each person during the week.
What do you want to learn and understand during this time?
I am open to discovering whatever learnings it brings!
How do you hope to grow during this experience?
I hope to share meaningful times with others and the beautiful surroundings which will certainly be soul nourishing. I can’t say what specifically will come about, but I believe I will leave feeling fulfilled.
What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I love helicopters. 🙂
Tell us about a book that made you feel happy…
Mindset by Carol Dweck.
What food reminds you of your childhood and why?
Any Curry, we had it a lot growing up.
What do you love most about your work?
I love connecting with people by expressing my truth, and facilitating people to connect with themselves and express their truth.
What is something that really inspires you in life?
My Dad, he’s in his mid 70s and he is so happy and excited about life and always learning. You’re old when you think you know everything and seeing my Dad be so curious and eager about life at his age makes me think “I wanna be just like that at his age” – he’s younger than many people I know that are my age.
When you travel what things do you like to explore from the local culture?
Of course food and interesting places (especially nature). What I really like is to ‘feel’ the place, so that comes from experiencing everything as presently and mindful as possible.
When was the last time you over 24h without your phone or digital devices and how did that make you feel?
September 2014 for 2 days, I won’t lie – I felt great. Having said that, I am moving away from making my beloved gadgets the villain. Recently I started incorporating tech mindfulness into my teachings (and for myself). Tech isn’t going away, it’s how we are evolving so I’m making it a friend. If we check our phones 100 times a day, from how I understand it – that’s 100 mindfulness opportunities! 🙂
